Barbie's Easter Dress has a small daisy print on a glittery background in 3 spring pastels.
Barbie's Easter dress has puff sleeves that are on most dolls off the shoulder and a two-tier skirt that comes to about mid-calf or longer on her. The two hems have a rolled serged finish. The dress closes in back with hook and loop and the waist is a dropped style. On my doll, the sleeves stay up, but it's possible on your doll, this will be an off-shoulder look. If that bothers you, I do have other casual dresses to choose from.
Barbie's friend Nikki is modeling the dress. She's on her way to a fashion show and said you should please disregard the green ribbon in her hair--she was just modeling a St. Patrick day dress. As always my doll and her shoes are not included. You will receive the dress only.
To be assured of receiving your Barbie Easter Dress in time for Easter or other gift-giving, please order at least 3-4 weeks ahead of time to avoid disappointment. Barbie doll clothes make great Easter basket gifts! I have just purchased a new print for Easter. It's white with jelly beans on it I haven't even used it yet but if you want to choose it, it's now in the pull-down menu below. When I choose fabric for Barbie clothes, I like to be sure the size scale is just right. This is why it took me so long to finally find an egg type/jelly bean print that I was satisfied with. As soon as someone orders it, I will get a picture of it or I may just put up a picture of the fabric itself.
Please be sure to tell me in the shopping cart if your Barbie doll is classic (5 1/2 inch bustline) or a newer doll (4 1/2 inch bustline) because I will need to adjust the Barbie dress as I sew it. Most Barbies are the newer so I am getting used to making Barbie clothes for the newer bodies. If no information is supplied, I will just make it for the new body because the majority of orders I receive are for the newer bodied Barbie.
Barbie doesn't have to save this dress for Easter. It would be a cute summer type dress or something she can wear to a friend's wedding. It's wherever your imagination wants to take her!
