Barbie's sundress has that fifties retro look and is perfect for summer.

Barbie's sundress will look nice in the prints I have for you to choose from, or even a solid color cotton fabric. Fabric will vary according to availability. 

You are more than welcome to choose your own fabric and mail it to me. I have had a few customers do that and it works out very well. If you even have a dress you used to wear that is made from a small print, that could even work too. It would be a good way to remember your favorite clothes without keeping the clothing item itself.

If you choose to do that, please make sure the clothing item or fabric cut from it is washed and pressed before sending it to me. You may have some favorite dresses from your daughter when she was a little girl that you really don't want to keep but would feel guilty if you tossed or gave them away. Why not cut some fabric from them to make into a Barbie sundress. What better way to remember the cute prints that she once wore!

If you do choose to select your own fabric or send me fabric from a ready-made dress, please make sure it's at least 1/4 of a yard, or 9 inches wide. Small prints work best as far as how it will look on Barbie. Challis or a silky type fabric (aka slippery) really don't work very well with Barbie clothes, especially this style since I need to line the bodice and turn the straps right side out.
