Probably the question first and foremost on everyone's mind is "When will I receive my order?" This is a very reasonable question but you need to understand the nature of handmade Barbie doll clothes. I am only one seamstress who sews all the clothing you see on this site--unless I get really backed up and enlist my mother's help. I also pack your order myself and make sure it's safely shipped to you.Due to the fact that I no longer do craft shows, I have no backstock to rely on. All the leftovers have been purchased by desperate shoppers at the 11th hour for the last two Christmas seasons. Orders will take 1-2 weeks--but CAN take up to 3 weeks from the time of placing to when you receive it. At certain times of the year especially beginning after Thanksgiving, the USPS runs a little slower than normal. Please don't panic if a week goes by and you don't have your order. It simply can't happen that fast. This is a home business and I have a family with real life things happening just like you do. I appreciate your business and your understanding! You can at least rest assured that I do not outsource any of my work overseas--not even to anyone else in the US except my mom and now my teen daughter is old enough to do some of the basic sewing. When I take a site break, I will always post that on the home page so it's a good idea to check the home page first for any announcements stating that I'm away from a computer or just taking a much-needed break. PLEASE NOTE: AOL has been known to reject messages. If you do not hear from me and you have asked a question, please either phone me during business hours, M-F 9-5 EST or use an alternative email to write me. I highly recommend if you have AOL that you also have a Gmail account. It has tons of storage and is very reliable.I do have an AOL account just for the purpose of contacting customers who have AOL, so if you have AOL and I need to contact you for anything, I may be using this account to be sure that my message will get through. You'll know it's me by the name in the address plus I'll always include the order number or your question subject in the subject line.

What shipping method is used and how much is shipping/handling?

The checkout is set up to let you select your shipping method. A small handling fee is built into the base shipping rate. The shipping rates are done live via the USPS. To see what your rates will be, add your items to the cart, then proceed to checkout. When you see the amount, you can always hit your back button if you're not ready to finish. Rates are based on the total weight of the order.

What if I'm not comfortable using a credit card online?

When you place your order, there will be a box for you to check to indicate you want to pay by phone. If this is what you are most comfortable with, proceed with the order. You'll receive your order verification email. For phone orders, you can call during business hours with your credit card information. I accept Master Card, VISA and Discover. Another alternative to using a credit card online would be to send a Postal money order to the address on the Contact Page . If using this method, prompt payment is not only appreciated but required. I will not start on any order until I receive the payment in the mail. If you do not receive your order, you can assume I did not receive payment. It's up to you to mail your payment as you won't receive an invoice from me. Please consider your order verification your invoice if using the mailed payment method.

Do you accept international orders?

Yes, there are a number of countries from which I will accept orders. I only accept payment in United States dollars so the best way to pay would be with your credit card or PayPal .

Is there a return policy?

I will accept any product in its original package and original condition for up to 14 days from the date of shipment. Before returning any product, you will need to call for an RMA number. If possible, the item should be sent back in its original shipping container. My items are all light enough to go first class. The item price is the only amount refunded. I charge a 20% restocking fee for all returned orders. Your refund check will reflect this.

What if I change my mind and have to cancel?

If you contact me right away about changing your mind, I will be able to cancel your order. However, most of time unless I'm very backed up, I will call in the credit card charge right away. Provided I have not started your order, you would receive your order amount minus a $2 processing fee which covers the postage stamp, envelope, ink to print the envelope and my time to write the refund check. If your order is started and all the way or mostly complete, you will receive the amount minus a 20% cancellation fee which will be reflected in the refund check. If you have marked check, money order or telephone payment and change your mind, I do appreciate it if you simply let me know. I will not have started the order of course but it's very courteous to do this and will leave you in good standing with me should you decide to order again in the future.

If you try to sell me anything, I'll try and sell you some doll clothes because this line is for paying or potential customers' use. (Either that or I'll give you an earful of Ethical SEO Techniques pointing out a hundred different reasons why I do not need your company's search engine placement services.) I am also on the Do Not Call List And yes my number is governed by this list because it is NOT a business number. This has been asked enough recently that I thought I would add it here. No, I do not have a catalog and do not plan ever to have a catalog. This site is my catalog. If you print out what you like, there you go! You have a catalog! Seriously, by not having a catalog, I keep YOUR costs down. Do you have a storefront I can visit? I do not have a physical store--I work out of my home. The website is my store and if you are on this site, you're already visiting my store! Pretty cool huh?
