Barbie Cheerleading Outfit is perfect for football or basketball season!
Every Barbie needs her own cheerleading outfit in your very own school colors!
This Barbie doll cheerleading outfit is pictured in the colors that represent the Buckeyes from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) but I can do literally any school as long as there is no logo or name infringement. This means I cannot use actual team logos from the internet. But if you have a generic team mascot such as Tigers or Bears, I can use either a picture you provide or one I get from free clip art sites and put your team name underneath it as a computer transfer.
Some towns have stores that carry stickers with the team's official logo on them. If your town has that and you want to just buy those stickers and decorate your Barbie cheerleading top yourself, just let me know so I will leave the top plain. This is one way that you can legally purchase an official team logo, by supporting the team's sale of their stickers at your local store and sticking them on your Barbie cheer top yourself.
I can also do a computer transfer with just your team name, school name or just the initials with fabric paint, as shown in this OSU Barbie cheerleading outfit example.
Please note: Hand-lettering with fabric paint will be done on the OSU outfits because all I have quite a bit of gray paint. Once that runs out, I will use computer transfers for those outfits as well. Sometimes I do have to resort back to fabric paint if the computer transfers won't take for some reason. I only use the fabric paint on very short names though, mostly initials if I think it looks ok.
Regretfully, the company that I was purchasing these team poms you see in the picture was informed that the pom manufacturer has gone out of business. I was able to buy a good supply of them, but not all the popular colors. So my most popular scarlet and gray is in very short supply.
If I am out of the type pom you see pictured, I will use a solid color puffy craft pom. If I cannot locate puffy craft poms in the colors I need, I will have to either discontinue those color combos or decide if it's worth buying yarn to start making these poms. Due to color availability, you may end up with 2 solid color craft poms of just one of your colors, but you will always get some sort of a pom pom for your Barbie cheerleading outfit.
- Top is a cotton knit bodysuit, hook/loop closure
- School initials handwritten in fabric paint
- Or, an image transfer, generic mascot and name
- Circular skirt with contrast rolled hem, hook/loop closure
- Poms are either as shown, handmade or puffy style, depending on availability
- Small elastic sewn to pom holds it on doll's hand
Rather than limit you to the previous pull down menu choices I had before, now you can just type in your school colors below AND also the initials you want on the cheer top. Please be sure to specify what you want because if you don't, I will need to contact you and ask you which will sort of hold up your order a little bit. Thanks in advance.
